10 Biggest Mysteries Still Surrounding WWE WrestleMania 38

2. Who Will Seth Rollins Face?

Following on nicely from the status of Cody Rhodes, there's the looming kayfabe question of who Seth Rollins' mystery opponent will be on the first night of WrestleMania 38.

Said mystery opponent being the returning Rhodes seems to be the worst kept secret in pro wrestling right now, and any smart gambler out there would be betting their house on the American Nightmare stepping out at AT&T Stadium to face the Visionary.

If looking for options other than Cody as Seth's 'Mania rival, there are several other possibilities out there - even if they all seem extremely unlikely to somehow fill a spot many have cemented in their head as being reserved for Rhodes.

Maybe Vince McMahon got on the phone to offer Bill Goldberg a hefty WrestleMania payday? Maybe crazy ol' Vince has decided he fancies taking on the Architect of the Shield himself? Maybe the call was made to give this spotlight to an underused, undervalued talent such as Apollo? Maybe Mustafa Ali has been given the Rollins match as a way for WWE to build bridges with the disgruntled former RETRIBUTION leader? Maybe Seth ushers in the main roster arrival of an NXT name like LA Knight, Tommaso Ciampa or even white-hot prospect Bron Breakker?

Nah, it'll be Cody Rhodes. Still, until it's official, there's always a chance that WWE fools us all.
