6. What Role Will Steve Austin Have?

It's been 19 long years since 'Stone Cold' Steve Austin last laced up a pair of boots for in-ring competition. Of course, that came at WrestleMania XIX, where the Bionic Redneck would ride off into the sunset after losing to The Rock.

At just 38 years of age, Austin was forced to retire after a litany of neck and knee injuries accumulated over the years finally took their toll. And with that, the Texas Rattlesnake did what so few in this business ever did - he actually stayed in retirement.

Now, with WrestleMania 38 within touching distance, WWE is hyping the 'return' of the legendary Steve Austin.

Initial rumblings suggested Austin would be having an actual match with Kevin Owens at the Showcase of the Immortals, but then the official word from WWE is that Stone Cold will simply be appearing on The KO Show to chew the fat with Owens.

Granted, it's a given that there will be some sort of physicality from Austin at 'Mania. The question here, is will that merely be a patented Stone Cold Stunner to the former Universal Champion? Will we get a prolonged brawl across AT&T Stadium? Or will we actually end up getting a bona fide match of Austin vs. Owens?
