Asuka and Bayley are two of the absolute best in WWE. Unfortunately, Asuka and Bayley have also both suffered significant spells on the sidelines across this past year. Still, the silver lining here is that both hugely talents performers are believed to be ready to return to action any day now.

In the case of Asuka, the Empress of Tomorrow was last seen in the titular women's match at last July's Money in the Bank PPV. A shoulder injury is what's kept the Women's Grandslam Champion out of action, but recent reports suggest Asuka is now ready to return to the ring once creative 'has something for her'.

As for Bayley, the Role Model likewise was injured in July. In this instance, the former Hugger suffered an ACL injury while training in the WWE Performance Center. Much like Asuka, Bayley is expected to return imminently.

Both of these ridiculously talented stars were rumoured for Royal Rumble returns earlier this year, and it seems as if the duo are on the cusp of finally being back on our TV screens. If Asuka and Bayley are indeed ready to return, it may well come down to whether WWE views a WrestleMania appearance as being more shocking than having either grappler return on the Raw or SmackDown after 'Mania.
