10 Biggest Omissions From WWE Draft List 2016

4. Paul Heyman

Okay, so I’m not saying I was expecting Paul Heyman to be named as a Superstar eligible to be drafted. But it’s noticeable that a number of other managers were at least listed alongside their clients.

You had Maryse with the Miz, Lana with Rusev, and of course the evergreen Bob Backlund with Darren Young. Each of those pairings come as a package deal, so why then doesn’t Heyman’s name appear next to Brock Lesnar’s on the list?

Does this mean Heyman isn’t coming back? I hope to god not—it’s already been too long since we last saw or heard from him on WWE television. But it does seem a little fishy that he doesn’t get any kind of a mention here.

Perhaps they just didn’t think it was an important enough detail to include him on the list. Or maybe they’re teasing the revealing of Heyman as one of Shane or Steph’s General Managers?

I guess a guy can dream…
