10 Biggest Omissions From WWE Draft List 2016

3. Ryback

Though technically still contracted to the WWE, Ryback hasn’t appeared for the company since losing to Kalisto on the Payback 2016 kick-off show.

The reason for this stems back to a contractual dispute, in which Ryback aired his grievances with the WWE’s pay system. As in, the same one that’s been a part of the wrestling business since forever… Their response was to pull him from and any all upcoming appearances, and we haven’t seen the Big Guy since.

Being snubbed from the Draft list would suggest that the company hasn’t budged from its stance at all. But with a real need for bodies to fill out two separate rosters, it’s kind of surprising that the two haven’t sought to patch up their differences and come to some kind of an agreement.

I guess the dispute was more serious than first thought. Based on this latest evidence, it looks like we may well have seen the last of Ryback in a WWE ring.
