2. The Ric Flair Flop
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XNfDSnX2mDw If you've seen a Ric Flair match then you know what the "Ric Flair Flop" is. After Flair takes a move from an opponent he stumbles forward almost as if he's in a drunken haze, then falls face first onto the mat, the floor or wherever he happens to be. He does it after moves that could be sold by doing a regular back bump like every other wrestler does, but Flair deserves credit for making it his own thing. There are actually quite a few tribute videos to the Flair flop. After watching some of those videos, it's pretty obvious that he takes the bump on his left shoulder every time. It's probably a comfort thing more than anything. He is so used to taking it that way. It's a spot that Flair made famous after doing it for over 30 years. Now that he doesn't wrestle anymore somebody else could probably do it although it's one of those things that will likely be kept locked away as a tribute to the Nature Boy. That's for the best.
