10 Biggest Problems Facing WWE Right Now

1. Declining TV Ratings

Every few weeks a new report comes out that Monday Night Raw's ratings reached a new low. While part of this can be blamed on a decrease in cable television viewers as a whole, that is not the entire story. There is clear evidence that Raw's ever decreasing ratings coincide with the expanding of the show to three hours back in 2012. The third hour is always the least watched portion of the show, signalling that fans grow tired after the first two.

Additionally to Raw's ratings problems, NXT was soundly defeated in the 'Wednesday Night War' by AEW Dynamite. Of the 75 weeks that followed Dynamite's debut, NXT only had more viewers for ten of those weeks, and only won the all important key demographic once. NXT has not faired much better on Tuesday nights either, hovering at around half a million viewers each week.

This is not currently WWE's bottom line, but sooner or later, Vince McMahon will eventually be looking to cash in on a new TV deal. If the ratings continue to drop, the asking price for WWE's product will also dip. Record low ratings are something WWE needs to fix sooner rather than later.
