What Was Promised: On the 14 October Raw, Stephanie McMahon raised an eyebrow that would've made Dwayne Johnson proud when she announced that Brock Lesnar would be drafted to SmackDown with immediate effect. This, along with Bray Wyatt's jump to the blue team, signified big things for the one-time 'B' show.

How They Broke It: Less than one full month later, Paul Heyman announced that Lesnar was quitting SmackDown to go after new foe Rey Mysterio. This came after Brock had won the WWE Title from Kofi Kingston and seemingly become the new face of Friday nights.

FOX must've been thrilled. Not.

WWE undermined their own Draft specials by throwing one of the biggest trades onto the nearest trash heap and starting again. It made a mockery of "ironclad" contracts the company had spoken of and made SmackDown look second rate again.
