10 Biggest Promises WWE Broke In 2019
8. A Robust Women's Tag Division
What Was Promised: Michael Cole and other WWE lapdogs have barked relentlessly since late-last year that the new Women's Tag-Team Titles are history-making prizes. They were poised to become a symbol of progression for females in the company, and they'd help drive this women's revolution forwards by giving the ladies something else to strive for.
How They Broke It: Shamefully, WWE has treated their own creation with less respect than the old WCW Tag straps when they came over as part of the package in 2001. Almost every single championship team has oddly spent time off TV when they were champs (with the exception of Sasha Banks and Bayley), and it's obvious WWE don't give a damn.
The lively women's tag division that was teased hasn't materialised. Instead, there's only room for a title feud involving shoved-together singles stars like Charlotte Flair and Becky Lynch. There are also no full-time female tags aside from Fire & Desire, The IIconics and The Kabuki Warriors, and the first two don't get a ton of screen time.
