8. James Storm

James Storm’s NXT run may have lasted less time than it takes to brew a good cup of tea, but he’s one of the most important wrestlers in TNA history. A company mainstay, Storm has been with TNA almost since day one, and while he technically left Impact Wrestling in 2015, loyalty eventually brought him back.

Storm has had a number of singles runs during his time with TNA and he even has a World Heavyweight Championship reign to his name, but if he retired tomorrow, he’d be remembered primarily as a world-class tag wrestler. His TNA run started as one half of America’s Most Wanted, and he and Chris Harris were six-time NWA Tag Team Champions by the time they split. Harris left the company, but Storm continued his record of excellence with Bobby Roode, and the duo scored five reigns as Beer Money Inc.

Aside from Roode and Harris, Storm has further TNA tag title reigns with Gunner, Abyss, and Christopher Daniels on his resume. He’s part of arguably the two most important tag teams in TNA history, and has been a real anchor for the division at times. More importantly, Storm has always been an entertaining performer whose work has helped carry TNA through its most difficult periods, and he should be considered part of the company’s backbone.
