1. A Missed Opportunity

It was finally time for the main event, which pitted WWE Champion Dean Ambrose and number one contender Dolph Ziggler against Bray Wyatt and Erick Rowan. The heels quickly got the heat on Dolph, but "The Showoff" made a hot tag to "The Lunatic Fringe." Ambrose was soon overwhelmed, but he managed to tag back out to Dolph.

Things broke down, with Dolph getting a Zig Zag on Rowan, but Wyatt breaking up the cover. Ambrose threw Wyatt outside of the ring and hit him with a dive, while inside the ring, Dolph nailed Rowan with a superkick for the pin. The good guys won, but all was not well - Ambrose planted Dolph with Dirty Deeds to end the show.

The match did put heat on the SummerSlam title bout, but it's hard not to think that the company missed a chance to do even better. Dolph is in dire need of a turn, and if he had simply walked out on Ambrose during the bout and left him to the Wyatts, it would have been accomplished. There's still time for a turn, but now it looks more likely that it'll come after SummerSlam.
