10 Biggest Wasted Talents On The WWE Roster In 2017

5. Rhyno

A true threat to all comers in ECW, Rhyno came into WWF in 2001 as the raging 'Man-Beast', with violence on his mind and anger in his soul. As the final ECW Champion of the original Heyman-led company, he had a volatile edge to him and extreme main event potential.

Sadly, his push would come to an abrupt end due to injury in October '01 and would keep him out of action until early 2003. When he returned, his momentum never really picked up and he was left to jump from misfit tag team to misfit tag team.

Since his full-time return to mainstream TV in 2016, he's largely picked up where he left off. Rhyno has spent virtually his entire run as the sidekick of mid-card comedy act, Heath Slater. Despite going on to relative success as a team - even becoming the inaugural SmackDown Tag Team Champions - it seems like Rhyno is once again left to prop up the mid-card tag division as he did in 2004.

At 41, Rhyno is likely viewed by WWE as a veteran star, whose main purpose is to make younger ones. This would be a huge disservice to the former ECW and NWA World Champion and a singles push as heel would be a far better use of his talents.
