10 Biggest WCW Crowd Reactions Ever

8. Goldberg Does The Impossible

Slamming a giant is one thing, but holding him up in a suplex position before hitting a Jackhammer? That is the sort of stuff that will brings tears to the eyes of men, create stories told by old gentlemen in years to come, and implore people to achieve the unachievable.

Okay, so that is all a little over the top, but when Goldberg managed to hit The Giant with a Jackhammer on an episode of Monday Nitro, it genuinely seemed as though anything was possible. The live crowd certainly thought so, losing their collective nuts as their hero gave just another reason for his insane popularity.

Pretty much everything Goldberg touched during his initial years in WCW turned to gold, and this was no exception. The WWF may have been gaining ground and eventually pulling away, but in Goldberg WCW had managed to create a star who kept crowds captivated by what was happening inside the ring, despite his obvious wrestling limitations.

Sure, it was the characters involved, but this crowd went crazy for a delayed vertical suplex powerslam.
