Following his win over Conor McGregor at last October's UFC 229, UFC Lightweight Champion Khabib Nurmagomedov was hit with a nine-month suspension for his part in the utterly insane post-fight brawl that broke out in Las Vegas.

At 11 victories, Khabib's UFC win streak is massively impressive on its own. But even more jaw-dropping is that his overall MMA win streak currently stands at 27 - his professional record being 27-0-0.

Up next for The Eagle is a return to UFC action against interim UFC Lightweight Champion Dustin Poirier at September 7th's hotly anticipated UFC 242.

Should Khabib be victorious in his UFC return, that would stretch his UFC winning streak to 12 and counting.

Few modern-day fighters have had the same impact on UFC as Khabib Nurmagomedov and now it's just a case of seeing if he can pick up where he left off.
