9. Winner: Kevin Owens

Unlike fellow Quebecer Sami Zayn, Kevin Owens came out on top at WrestleMania, besting Chris Jericho in a solid albeit abruptly-ended United States title match.

While it’s technically a step down from the Universal Title, Owens could do a lot of great things with the US Title, a belt that’s been all-but-forgotten since Roman Reigns won it from Rusev, a background prop in stories about lists, shark cages, and Goldberg.

This was a decisive win too, with Owens looking dominant rather than cowardly. With Owens once again flying solo and in possession of his mean streak, the future looks bright for the 'Prizefighter'. If he can make a splash on RAW in the coming weeks, he can really capitalise on the momentum earned at ‘Mania.
