10 Biggest Winners From Ultima Lucha

3. Vampiro

I've got to give Vampiro a ton of credit here. He's only the second loser from Ultima Lucha that I give some winner's love to in this article and he deserves it. This wasn't a match of the year between him and Pentagon, Jr. but it was still very entertaining.

The announcers talked about how Vampiro has had neck surgeries and it's been years since he's been in the ring. Considering how limited he might be at this point he still gave everything he had.

Vampiro had fluorescent tubes destroy his skull, he missed a moonsault and then landed on tacks, and he allowed himself to be slammed through a table that was engulfed in flames. And it wasn't simply senseless brutality, it all told a story of the heart he still has for this business.

Even the story of Vampiro revealing to Pentagon that he was the mysterious Master all along was kind of cool in a campy sort of way. I've seen some reactions that people thought the post-match reveal was silly, but I liked it. Now, Vampiro can be the mentor or manager or even the trios partner of Pentagon, Jr. if they'd recruit another into their strange alliance.
