10 Biggest Winners (& Losers) Of WWE Draft 2021
3. WINNER: Drew McIntyre
'The Scottish Warrior' is one of the few genuine main event stars on the WWE roster.
In the lead up to his Royal Rumble and WrestleMania win, Drew McIntyre connected with the crowd rarely seen these days, especially in the WWE. The man looks, talks and walks like a megastar and his work throughout the ThunderDome Era was brilliant.
He deserved his title run to be in front of fans and the WWE have done him a massive disservice in the lead up to them coming back. Gone was the badass, cool babyface he had become and replaced with a sword-wielding history teacher who bored everyone with his ridiculous stories.
Drafting Drew to SmackDown is the chance to set things right.
He was hobbled by not being able to fight for the WWE Championship but now on SmackDown, he looks like the perfect person to step up to Roman Reigns once his beef with Brock Lesnar is over. Just go back and watch their contract signing and their match at Survivor Series to see just how much chemistry he and Reigns have together.
Triple H said it was a match worthy of WrestleMania, and if the rumoured Rock match doesn't happen, building McIntyre to face the Tribal Chief at the 'Show of Shows' isn't a bad shout.
