LayCool were the Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens of their day, using their friendship for victories and becoming co-women’s champions. But they met their match in the Divas Of Doom, Beth Phoenix and Natalya.

At TLC 2010 the women were allowed to play with the furniture under the ring for the first time - on the condition that any table they used was pink.

The team of Beth and Natalya (who really could be sisters) were clearly a step above Michelle McCool and Layla in terms of athleticism, but they carried the mean girls to a pretty good match.

The specially gimmicked table, which was supposed to break easier than the men’s ones, not only looked ridiculous, but it also failed to serve its purpose.

Even when Natalya threw both members of LayCool on to it from the top rope for the finish, the pink table managed to stay pretty much intact. But it was the botched finish which actually led to a better ending, as Natalya then splashed both of them, finally managing to break the table and win the match.

This wasn’t a match that would change the world, but the team of Phoenix and Natalya were a hint of things to come, as the women’s division began to creep towards earning greater recognition.
