There were rumblings late last year of The Rock playing some sort of role at WrestleMania 31, but after his brief Royal Rumble appearance and where things currently stand, it's clear that won't be happening. While there has been talk of him possibly showing up to help Roman Reigns celebrate if he emerges victorious, rumours right now are focused solely on what the People's Champion turned box office king will be doing at next year's event. A match for The Rock with Triple H seemed like a possibility at one point, but it's been reported that the reason Brock Lesnar mentioned his victory over him at 2002's SummerSlam in that recent promo is to lay the groundwork for the two having a rematch at WrestleMania 32. Adding some weight to this one is the fact that The Rock has since indicated he would be interested in making it happen while promoting Fast & Furious 7.
