WWE lies about the WrestleMania attendance every year. That's just what they do. If the attendance is really 65,000 people then they're going to say 75,000 people were there. They always do it. They always will do it. How do we know the attendance is fabricated? Guys like Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter report on the business for a living and are able to get the real numbers. If you searched records at the stadiums you could find the real numbers. Here's an example. Toronto's Skydome (now known as Rogers Centre) that hosted WrestleMania 6 and 18 holds 50,000 for baseball. That is completely full. The WWE venue has seats on the floor, but there's also a massive set takes up 1/4 of the floor or more. WWE announced 67,678 and 68,237 for those events. Do you really think they could fit 18,000 people on the floor? No way. You can't fit that many people in that space. Not happening. The biggest number in WWE history is WrestleMania 3 with a reported 93,000 people. Is it legit? It might be. Look at the pictures of it and you can see that the building really was full with a possible 13,000 people on the floor along with 80,000 people in the stands. It could have been under 93,000 too. The information is out there. We don't have to all seek it out to know it's true, but from being at several WrestleManias and football events in those stadiums it's clear that WWE is bending the truth a lot of the time. Next year's WrestleMania could legitimately get 100,000 people in the building because that's how big the stadium is where the Dallas Cowboys play. Just remember that WWE does like to stretch the truth about it sometimes too.
