10 Biggest WrestleMania Lies

7. Hulk Hogan's Eye Injury At WrestleMania 9

WWE claimed that Hulk Hogan's very obvious eye injury going into WrestleMania 9 was due to an attack by his WrestleMania opponents Ted Dibiase and Irwin R. Schyster. That was a blatant lie to cover up what really happened. Hogan had a jet ski accident. Here's his version of the story. Basically, he said he switched jet skis with his buddy Brutus Beefcake, the waves were high and they got into an accident. It led to a obvious black eye around his eye. It was one night before WrestleMania when it happened. There was also another rumor about the incident claiming that he got into some sort of altercation with Randy Savage and that's how he got a black eye. That story wasn't true. WWE lied during the accident because they didn't want to make Hogan look weak. That's the typical way of protecting a top babyface wrestler.
