10 Biggest Wrestlers Not Signed To WWE Or AEW

9. Joey Ryan

Lucha Underground

Like many on this list, Joey Ryan was a huge, ahem, member of All In's presentation, the supposed stiff rising from the dead to ejaculate Joey Janela from the show. The purveyor of the Penis Party was still under lock and key with Lucha Underground at the time, so AEW's inability to snag his signature shortly after their formation was out of their hands.

Ryan gained his release from the clutches of the El Rey Network as a part of the class-action lawsuit against LU in May, and yet his services remain strictly independent. In spite - or perhaps because of - his tongue-in-cheek, dick-in-hand gimmick, Ryan rejected a role in WWE, where he worked a dark match in 2013. Unwilling to give up his money spinning routine, and a little too young to take a coaching role, the snub made sense. But why hasn't he turned up in AEW?

The man with the most powerful todger in wrestling told the Not Sam podcast back in May that he realised Tony Khan's venture would be successful without him, and he without them. Presumably then, for now, it's a financial reason.

Benjamin was born in 1987, and is still not dead. He variously enjoys classical music, old-school adventure games (they're not dead), and walks on the beach (albeit short - asthma, you know). He's currently trying to compile a comprehensive history of video game music, yet denies accusations that he purposefully targets niche audiences. He's often wrong about these things.
