10 Biggest Wrestling Crimes WWE Committed In 2016

3. Undermining Their Own Female Revolution

First things first, it's important to give WWE credit for the way Sasha Banks vs. Charlotte Flair has been handled throughout 2016. After all, who believed that these women would compete in a Hell In A Cell match, let alone headline a pay-per-view of the same name and several episodes of Raw?

Charlotte vs. Sasha has been an epic, however it has been slightly undermined by the way females have been booked elsewhere. One classic example is the ongoing drama involving Big Cass, Enzo Amore, Rusev and Lana. The 'Ravishing Russian' is cast as a piece of eye candy to Enzo, the babyface seeing nothing wrong with trying to sleep with another man's wife.

In other stories on Raw, Alicia Fox briefly feuded with Bayley because the babyface female had given her boyfriend Cedric Alexander a teddy bear. That hardly makes women look like strong, independent characters, WWE can't have their cake and eat it here.

There's either a female revolution going on or there isn't. It's strange to see some women look like supreme athletes whilst others continue to act like 'Divas' of the past.
