10 Biggest Wrestling Promo Botches

7. Sid Vicious's Incomplete Brain

As Psycho Sid, Sid Vicious, Sid Justice, or whatever incarnation he was in, Sid could always be counted on for memorable promo work, which is charitable way of saying it was impossible to guess what he was going to say or whether it would have anything to do with anything.

Sid's most infamous on-mic brain spasm occurred on an episode of Monday Nitro in November 1999. In response to a bizarre segment where Kevin Nash wore a grotesque rubber mask presumably supposed to resemble Sid, the man himself took to the stage.

"You can wear any Halloween costume you want," ranted Sid in inimical, Master And Ruler Of The World style. "But you know and I know, you're only half the man I am." Sid paused for effect, winding up to deliver the killer blow.

"And I only have half the brain that you do."

Sid ploughed on, but the damage was done. Even a worked shoot four-letter outburst couldn't save Sid from promo botch infamy. In the ring, Hall and Nash tried to stop rupturing themselves with laughter.
