10 Biggest WWE Creative Mistakes Of 2015

6. Believing Kane Could Still Be A Credible Title Contender

Glenn Jacobs deserves credit for the longevity of his Kane character on WWE television. Since October, 1997, Kane has pretty much been a constant for the company. Jacobs is dependable, and has often shown himself to be better inside the ring than many fans would care to admit. Sadly, 2015 hasn't been his best year. During the Royal Rumble in January, many watching were disheartened by the lofty positions occupied by the likes of Kane and The Big Show. In 2015, people argued, those aging stars should not be the focal point of programming. They have their place, yes, but it's not at the top of the card. Those same fans must have been fuming when Kane was booked to face Seth Rollins for the WWE Title at Hell In A Cell. Whilst the match itself didn't turn out too badly, it's hard to argue that it was little more than filler. Fans simply did not buy Kane as a credible challenger for the WWE World Heavyweight Title, his time in the sun has come and gone in that regard. Indeed, the story of Kane's flip between 'Corporate' and 'Demon' started to drag on, and fans were bored of it by the time the pay-per-view occurred.
