The Undertaker is the single most-respected member of the WWE locker room. Without doubt, the man is the leader of that fraternity, someone who ensures rules are upheld and people don't get too far out of line. In other words, 'Taker is an authority behind the scenes, due to the level of respect many backstage have for the man. CM Punk disregarded that in WWE's eyes. In 2009, Punk was the World Heavyweight Champion. During a European tour, Undertaker apparently told Punk that he needed to start representing the company by dressing a little better whilst he was champ. Punk's reported response was to point fingers at John Cena and his attire outside of the ring. Management were not best pleased when they caught wind of this. Speaking back to someone like The Undertaker could have been a death knell for the guy, but he somehow managed to come through relatively unscathed. Punk did lose the World Title, but he'd later have a 434 day reign as WWE Heavyweight Champion. It wouldn't have been surprising had his words to such a locker room veteran cost him dearly.
