10 Biggest WWE Losers Of 2024
1. Shinsuke Nakamura
Shinsuke Nakamura remains one of WWE's biggest missed opportunities to this date, as Vince McMahon's hesitation over putting the WWE Championship on him at WrestleMania 34 resulted in "The King Of Strong Style" losing all the momentum he gained during his time in NXT.
He continued to flounder on the main roster despite multiple attempts to revitalize his character, and it took the company six years to figure out how to pull Nakamura out of his slump. His current sinister samurai-themed gimmick has sparked some life into his WWE career, as he went on to defeat LA Knight to capture the United States Championship at Survivor Series: War Games 2024. The gimmick has all it takes to take Nakamura to the next level, and the fans are hopeful that the Japanese sensation would finally enjoy main-event success under Triple H's regime.
The creative team took their time to devise Nakamura's current gimmick and had to take him off television for seven months after April. However, he continued performing in live events during his TV absence but lost most of his contests, leaving his 2024 stats at 52 losses out of 56 matches.
