10 Biggest WWE NXT Failures

5. Corey Graves

Someone at NXT really wanted Corey Graves to be a thing. He definitely has the unique look that makes you stop and pay attention to him, and he has undeniable charisma even just in the way he carries himself on his way to the ring. In the ring though, he was fairly unremarkable outside of his Lucky 13 submission maneuver. When stacked up against some of NXT€™s best and brightest like Adrian Neville or Sami Zayn, Graves could not keep up, but for whatever reason he kept getting put in those high profile feuds. Earlier this year, Corey Graves suffered his second concussion in an extremely short amount of time. WWE now takes concussions incredibly seriously, and there has been lots of talk online about the possibility that Graves€™ career has ended for the foreseeable future due to this second incident. While Graves was never terribly interesting to watch, it€™s always a tragedy when someone€™s career is cut so short. Thankfully, Graves is still with WWE working on the production of NXT€™s live events, and even made it onto the roster of this year€™s WWE 2K15 video game.
