Billed as an "end of an era" match, Triple H and Undertaker's clash was one of the most epic of the latter's unbeaten WrestleMania streak. Having beaten the Game at WrestleMania 27, 'Taker was unable to walk from the arena himself - a weakness which warranted a rematch the following year. The bout was ramped up a notch with the addition of Shawn Michaels as guest referee, and the inclusion of the Hell in a Cell stipulation. It provided one of the most convincing streak-ending teases ever seen, as a frustrated HBK superkicked the Deadman into a Pedigree, only for 'Taker to unbelievably kick out at two. He eventually picked up the victory, and the trio departed with their arms around one another - a fitting conclusion to a truly monstrous rematch.
