10 Biggest WWE Rematches Ever

3. Undertaker vs Shawn Michaels - WrestleMania 26

Of all the storied rivalries in WWE history, the most emotional, well-structured may be the Undertaker versus Shawn Michaels. Having clashed many times during the 1990s, their rivalry was reignited in the 21st century when both found themselves the final two entrants of the 2007 Royal Rumble. The pair had an enthralling mini-match, which ended when Undertaker dumped HBK out of the ring in his hometown of San Antonio. Two years later they put on one of the greatest matches in WrestleMania history, one which again saw the Deadman triumph. Obsessed with ending 'Taker's streak, Michaels challenged him the following year - a match then-champion Undertaker turned down. Undeterred, HBK entered the 2010 Royal Rumble to earn an automatic title shot. His heartbreak upon being eliminated by Batista was obvious. Increasingly desperate, Shawn interfered in the Deadman's Elimination Chamber defence to cost him the championship. Sufficiently angered, Undertaker agreed to a 'Mania rematch with one condition - Michaels' career was to be on the line. In a match regarded as slightly inferior to (but emotionally deeper than) their WrestleMania 25 encounter, the pair again stole the show. Eventually Undertaker brought an end to HBK's incredible WWE career, leaving many a grown man in tears at the University of Phoenix Stadium.
