9. First Elimination By A Non-Entrant (The Giant Gonzales)
It was tempting to put Hulk Hogan's decidedly heelish 1992 elimination of Sid Justice in here, but that wasn't technically the first time a non-entrant eliminated someone from the Rumble. After all, Hulk was in the match before he tumbled out, and so he's pardoned on this occasion.
Some guy dressed as Sasquatch isn't.
In the '93 Rumble (a night of firsts, apparently), pipsqueak manager Harvey Wippleman introduced his latest charge. The Giant Gonzales was born, and he'd interrupt The Undertaker's dominating stretch to send him rolling over the top rope. Again, Monsoon and Heenan didn't know what to make of it, and they wondered if 'The Deadman' was still in the Rumble.
He wasn't. Gonzales, who'd go on to have a dreadful feud with his new nemesis, had made an impact without being part of the 30-man field himself. In retrospect, most fans probably wish he and his glued-on pubic hair hadn't bothered.
