10 Biggest WWE Upset Wins

8. Maven Beats Undertaker For Hardcore Title - Smackdown

WWE.comWWE.comOne of the most memorable moments in Royal Rumble history happened in 2002 when Maven eliminated the Undertaker with a dropkick. A few weeks later on Smackdown, Undertaker defended the Hardcore Title against Maven. Al Snow was in Maven's corner since he was his trainer on Tough Enough and Maven was the original Tough Enough winner that was still a rookie at this point. The action was dominated by Undertaker. He destroyed Maven with everything in sight and it even caused Maven to bleed. Snow did everything he could to help the young guy, but Undertaker went after him too.Snow tried to help Maven again, but Undertaker got rid of him and nailed Maven with a huge Chokeslam. Undertaker even picked him up at the count of two. When The Undertaker had Maven in a choke hold, The Rock ran down to the ring with a steel chair. He nailed Undertaker in the head with a steel chair and then hit a Rock Bottom. He was feuding with Undertaker, so he made his presence felt in this match. Maven ended up crawling over to Undertaker and got the victory although Undertaker got his shoulder up after the three to show it was close. This match was forgotten a bit because most people don't even remember that Undertaker was even the Hardcore Champion or that he lost to Maven. The Royal Rumble moment was more memorable, but this match was a shocking surprise too. It wasn't clean obviously. It was still a big deal.
