10 Biggest WWE WrestleMania Letdowns

Had anyone been told shortly after King of the Ring 1998 that WrestleMania XV would feature a Hell In A Cell match, most would have lost their minds.

Imagine the letdown then when The Undertaker met the Big Boss Man in a 10-minute snorefest that coupled boring action with a borderline offensive ending WWE couldn't follow up on. Seeing the Cell at 'Mania should have been a landmark moment, but it was sullied by 'Taker hanging Boss Man from the structure in some sort of demonic sacrifice.

This was the next pay-per-view HIAC match after 'Taker's unforgettable one with Mankind the previous summer, and it was a total failure. People conditioned to expect big things from the Cell were left amazed that one at WrestleMania could be quite so poor.

Thank God for Steve Austin vs. The Rock later in the show. Without that, we might not remember 'Mania XV at all.
