Instead of another mere mortal plying his craft in the squared circle, The Undertaker is a supernatural phenom/undead wizard doomed to haunt WWE forever (and we do mean forever).

Yet WWE audiences continue to pop for The Deadman. His unique and increasingly sluggish entrance still sends chills across the WWE Universe, despite the company's modern preference for generic names and reality-based characters.

Who can blame us for refusing to turn away from The Undertaker? Dated gimmick or not, the alternative is an even scarier prospect.
