10 Blockbuster Returns WWE STILL Haven't Done Yet

8. The Great Khali

Ripping The Great Khali is too easy. All that needs to be said about his deficiencies has been said a thousand times before, so let's sidestep that.

While it's hard to see many outwith the obvious Indian fanbase pining for a Khali return, this might be the reason WWE look to him again someday. Targeting that marketplace was the key objective of Indo-Canadian Jinder Mahjal's World Title run. Every available metric revealed this to be a failure, but WWE just scored a significant new TV deal in a country where Khali enjoys celebrity status, increasing the likelihood of the promotion trying to bring him back.

How much Khali would actually be able to do at 47 years old is a stumbling block. His last "match" was a sub-one-minute run in 2018's Greatest Royal Rumble, though perhaps WWE would find a way to use him as a one-move squasher. Nonetheless, this can't be ruled out entirely. The big fella has remained in WWE's good graces since first stepping away in November 2017 and still occasionally steps through the ropes to this day.
