10 Blockbuster WWE Returns That Would Improve Ratings Immediately
6. Vince McMahon
Anyone who's watched Raw over the past couple of years can attest to the fact that the last thing WWE needs is more authority figures. Still, Vince McMahon himself is a different story. It was McMahon's initial heel turn - and subsequent feud with WWE Champion Steve Austin - that allowed the company to explode into a global empire, and through it all, McMahon proved to be one of the most compelling characters in wrestling history. That's not to say that Vince was always television gold, though. After his feud with Austin ended, he was involved in a lot of on-air stuff that didn't do much for business - including an alliance with Austin and many attempts to recreate the boss-versus-employee dynamic with other superstars. Still, McMahon has a proven track record for success, both as a character and as the creative mind behind it, and a return to TV as a regular personality would, at the very least, give business a shot in the arm until WrestleMania season draws near. Plus, it would be a welcome departure from the Authority storyline, which has more than run its course.
