10 Bold AEW Predictions For 2024
4. Will Ospreay Headlines All In
Will Ospreay had one of his best years to date in 2023, headlining shows around the world and having match of the year contenders every time he leaves the house. The ‘Aerial Assassin’ capped off his year by officially signing to AEW, meaning that February 2024 will see the end of his time on the independent scene.
With that in mind, fans have already been fantasy booking Ospreay’s run in AEW before it’s even begun. Dream matches against the likes of Bryan Danielson, Samoa Joe and Kenny Omega, just to name a few, are options for the ‘Commonwealth Kingpin’. Of course, AEW are notably making their return to the U.K., with All In set for Wembley Stadium once again. With one of the best British wrestlers of all time on their books, it would make sense for them to give him a prominent role at their summer supershow.
A potential main event role for Ospreay would surely be well-received by those in attendance on August 25th, and with the AEW World Championship picture being wide open, it seems plausible to suggest that fans will be singing ‘Elevated’ when the night is over in London.
