WWE’s pandemic bulk releases produced some shock names, but when Bronson Reed was released, the wrestling world’s mouths collectively dropped. This is because Reed had literally just won the North American Title, as well as competed in multiple dark matches at Raw and SmackDown events, in preparation for a hot shot to the main roster. All of a sudden, the Australian dropped the title after just over a month of holding it and was out of the company.

Vince just didn’t think the big man had what it takes, despite Triple H professing that Reed was money. Now known as JONAH, The Monster has been wrestling everywhere and anywhere. Most recently, the leader of the revived TMDK stable has been a nice addition to NJPW's roster and has been participating in the G1 Climax, pinning Kazuchika Okada in the process, which is a huge scalp for anyone. This won’t go unnoticed by Triple H. Considering the fact that the man formerly known as Bronson Reed was one of Triple H’s favourite NXT projects, expect him to make his way back to WWE and join Dakota Kai and Karrion Kross as another rescued soul.

If Gunther is to go on a dominant run with the Intercontinental Title, who better to take it off The Ring General than a returning Bronson? Imagine the hoss fight that would go down in the process, it’s enough to get any wrestling fan excited!
