5. New Day Officially Splits

It's time for some brutal honesty.

New Day has been a bit of a chore since Big E split off into singles stardom then saw his career/life threatened by a serious neck injury. Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods have on/off soldiered on, but few would be too gutted if New Day became old news as 2024 wrapped up. Karrion Kross has been pressing for it in character too.

Some Big E involvement in any split story would be lovely. He's such a massive part of the New Day fabric that it'd be a shame if he just sat on the sidelines looking on as his two best friends called time on their faction. This is definitely on the cards though - Woods and Kingston have displayed tension galore on Raw.

It'd be so strange to see them as rivals instead of tag-team partners, but that'd give Xavier a chance to show off his heel chops for a while. He hasn't had to do that since the group organically turned babyface almost a full decade or so ago, so it'd reinvigorate his act if nothing else.
