6. Raw Pushes The Envelope
Triple H knows a thing or two about pushing the envelope and irking executives at USA Network. His antics alongside HBK and Chyna in the original D-Generation X had execs angrily calling Vince McMahon each Tuesday morning to ask why his wrestlers were stuffing things down their pants and making crude jokes aplenty.
Ratings were getting stronger back then, so USA wasn't exactly going to boot Raw off the air for getting raunchy. Fast forward to late-2024, and the WWE flagship is set for a new home on Netflix from January onwards. That means this is the final hurdle to clear on USA, and Trips might not be able to resist getting up to his old tricks.
What are the Network gonna do? Shut Raw down? It needs WWE more than they need USA at this point, so Hunter can thumb his nose at any anger and book whatever the hell he likes on Mondays. That'd be music to CM Punk's ears. He and Drew McIntyre have been pushing it with their feud anyway.
