10 Bold WWE Predictions For 2016

3. Bray Wyatt Will Win The WWE World Heavyweight Championship

Bray Wyatt is one of wrestling's most interesting characters in that he cuts tremendous promos, has a presence and aura about him and typically performs up to the significance of the moment. The trouble lies in the fact that he always loses, significantly and adversely affecting his effectiveness as one of WWE's premiere heels, a role the company wants nothing more than for him to ascend to. That will happen in 2016, when he overcomes all of the questionable booking and finally becomes a credible threat in WWE by winning the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. Wyatt has combated some of the top babyfaces in the sport over the last two years and rarely have his high-profile bouts disappointed. He has a character that can be for today's company what Undertaker's has been for the last 25 years. At some point though, fans must buy into him and at this point, the only way to do that is to have him capture the top prize and essentially hold it hostage from the fan favorites that dominate the company. Only then will Wyatt make good on his promise from two years ago to bring about change in sports entertainment. It will happen in the new year, or he will descend further and further into mediocrity, an overly complicated blowhard.
