10 Booking Decisions AEW Should Make Before Double Or Nothing 2023

8. Ditch A Lesser Title

All Elite is starting to fall into the same trap so many major wrestling companies do. Rather than look for ways to produce interesting stories that eventually prepare workers for title tilts, they're adding endless amounts of belts to the trophy cabinet and diluting the importance of each as a result.

Why is the dreadful FTW Title still on TV in 2022, for example? That's a prime candidate to get binned, and so is the unnecessary All-Atlantic belt. Neither championship is actually exciting to wrestling fans, so it'd be cool if somebody had a word backstage and stopped these sorry straps from chewing up airtime any longer.

They're useless.

The Trios Titles have already lost some steam thanks to The Elite's suspensions woes too. Obviously, that's not really TK's fault, but he must realise that chucking so much gold onto programming is making it harder to care about any of them.
