Following the Royal Rumble, it is announced that Becky Lynch is now suffering from significant post-concussion syndrome, and may never wrestle again.

Though not appearing to revel in the glory of forcing Lynch from the industry altogether, Asuka simply uses her a plight as a reminder to anybody that dares to face her. Returning to action after reporting that her best friend is indeed still convalescing, Charlotte Flair demands that Asuka defend her title against her at WrestleMania.

'The Empress Of Tomorrow' blows off the challenge, but Daniel Bryan books a 'Beat The Clock' challenge to determine her WrestleMania foe. Charlotte dominates, sweeping Lana's legs with a quick kick before tapping her out with the Figure Eight in ten seconds.

At WrestleMania, Charlotte enters with the returning Becky Lynch in her corner, with the 'Irish Lass Kicker' in front of a live crowd for the first time since her Royal Rumble thrashing.

Asuka and Flair have one of the best matches of the night, with the still-undefeated Champion narrowly squeezing by her opponent with the Asuka Lock. Refusing to break the hold after the decision, Asuka viciously attempts to put Charlotte out of commission, leading to Becky Lynch rushing the ring to try and break things up.

To the shock of the WrestleMania crowd, Asuka floors her with a kick to the head. As she lays prone, Charlotte is targeted again, before Monday Night Raw's Sasha Banks and Bayley run down to force her prompt exit.
