4. Drafted

The night after WrestleMania, Vince McMahon appears in front of the raucous Monday Night Raw live crowd to announce a draft next week, featuring a selection of random roster shake-ups akin to those that took place in 2017. He notes that absolutely everybody is at risk of switching shows.

On the following week's edition of the flagship show, Asuka is confirmed as the newest member of the Monday Night Raw roster. With all authority figures in attendance, Shane McMahon demands that she return the SmackDown Live! Women's Title before making her official Raw debut.

Kurt Angle doesn't acquiesce, arguing that it's just tough luck and he'll have both Women's Titles on his show. Shane counters by suggesting that he won't therefore let her out of her Tuesday contract, but a Vince McMahon edict settles the controversy.

Noting the spectacular undefeated streak that stretches back to her 2015 NXT debut, McMahon comments on how she had to surrender the developmental brand's title as a result of a change in circumstances. He states that the same will again apply. Forfeiting yet another title without once facing defeat for it, Asuka hands over the blue brand's strap on a promise from McMahon that she will receive a title shot in her first match for the Raw brand - an April pay-per-view clash with Alexa Bliss.
