3. Team Becky Vs. Team Ronda
A couple of months of Ronda dominance sees Becky becoming just plain old Becky Lynch again, no longer forming that once special connection with the WWE universe. Becky is yearning for one more shot to put Ronda down and to bring the return of ‘The Man’.
WWE finally agrees to scrap the brand supremacy s**t at Survivor Series and gives us back 5-on-5 matches that make sense storyline wise. This sees Becky form her own team against the team of Ronda Rousey, looking to put Ronda behind her. Team Becky consists of Becky (obviously), Charlotte Flair, Asuka, Kairi Sane and Liv Morgan. Team Ronda consists of Ronda, Natalya, Ruby Riott, Nia Jax and Sarah Logan. Elimination after elimination sees Becky and Charlotte against Ronda, Nia and Ruby, but a powerbomb through the announce desk results in Charlotte not being able to compete further. Becky is now left as the only member in a 3-on-1 match.
The confidence of Becky is fading as success looks far away, but the deafening sounds of ‘Becky’ chants brings steam into the former ‘Man’, and Becky finds a way to eliminate Nia and Ruby, leaving herself and Ronda to last. Minutes of back and forth and a bad-ass performance result in Becky locking in the dis-arm-her and forcing Ronda Rousey to tap, making Becky the sole survivor and bringing about the return of 'The Man'.
Elsewhere on the PPV, Ember Moon beats Sasha Banks to become new SmackDown Women's Champion.
