10 Booking Steps For Kenny Omega As IWGP Heavyweight Champion

7. ALL IN

It's yet to be clarified if Chicago's ALL IN will be a big bad banter show or pay any heed to New Japan Pro Wrestling canon, but with the IWGP Heavyweight Champion and several of his biggest rivals on the show it seems wasteful not to involve the various ongoing storyline threads during the September 1st supercard.

Depending on how July's G1 Special plays out, Bullet Club could be in tatters by the time the supershow built on their legacy occurs, but expect the current and most successful leader Kenny Omega to be involved in something huge. Though understandably more delicate following the G1 Climax, The Golden Lovers could see tag or multi-man action alongside The Young Bucks, particularly if the fragmented group has imploded for good by then.

Kenny leading his troops into battle against Cody's former charges for one last showdown offers little more than enjoyable filler for 10,000 Chicagoans, but further tensions between Omega and Ibushi en route to victory could be an excellent way to make use of such a high profile stage. Elsewhere on the show, Kazuchika Okada should win and win well - The Rainmaker an ever-looming shadow assessing actions from a distance and awaiting the perfect moment to re-stake his claim.
