10 Booking Steps For The Shield Vs The Bullet Club
3. The Shield Vs The Bullet Club At Battleground
With The Shield back together, they'd come back out on Raw with their old music and matching attire. Entering from the crowd, they'd be in full-on Shield mode. This serves a purpose, as Reigns would be revitalised in his babyface role.
The Bullet Club would come out and make a challenge for a six-man tag at Battleground. The Shield would of course accept, and over the next few weeks on Raw there'd be matches like Styles versus Rollins, Ambrose versus Anderson and other singles combinations between the two groups in order to build interest.
Finally, at Battleground, the reunited Shield would compete together. But just when it looks like they've got the vbetter of The Bullet Club, out comes Finn Balor. His interference allows Styles to capitalise and pin Reigns.
The four members of The Bullet Club then destroy The Shield with a post-match beatdown. Again, this is all designed to be heel/face depending on the fan perspective. The IWC will root for Bullet Club, while the mainstream will root for The Shield.
