10 Booking Steps For WWE Monday Night Raw (Oct 12)

2. Book Seth Rollins Strongly

It's understandable that WWE would want to show Seth Rollins as fearful of the 'Demon' version of Kane. That's all well and good, but he's coming across very cowardly and weak in the process. It has been argued by some fans that this is the exact point of the story, which is fair enough, but the man has also previously been booked as a swaggering braggart. He's also the WWE World Heavyweight Champion. That last little slice of information should never be forgotten about for as long as Seth clutches the strap close. As things stand, it seems unlikely that Kane will win the WWE Title at Hell In A Cell, but the result isn't the real issue right now. What's important is that the entire feud isn't lopsided in one direction, but that's exactly what's happening. At almost every turn, Kane is getting the last laugh on Rollins. Turning things on their head may be the best option to keep things motoring along. Having Seth escape from Kane, not by running away but by outsmarting him, wouldn't kill the feud whatsoever. Better yet, it'd give the character of Rollins some much-needed credibility. Seth Rollins needs to look like he too can be the dominant force in a rivalry.
