10 Booking Steps For WWE Monday Night Raw (Oct 12)
6. Finally Announce New Day vs. Dudleyz 'Tables' Match
This past Monday on Raw, Stephanie McMahon revealed that The Dudley Boyz would get yet another crack at The New Day and the WWE Tag-Team Titles. After the disqualification finish at Live From Madison Square Garden, this was only inevitable. It also makes sense to book the bout as a Tables Match, The Dudley clan's trademark stipulation. There's already been some build for this, with Kofi Kingston, Xavier Woods and Big E launching the 'Save The Tables' social media campaign in storyline. That should be continued on Monday Night Raw, because it's time to start that build towards the next Pay-Per-View properly. At this point, fans really need an extra incentive to become invested in another Dudleyz vs. New Day encounter. Booking the bout as one involving Tables would greatly help. It's been smart not to hot shot the tag belts onto Bubba Ray and D-Von, but if they're going to win them soon then they'd be as well doing so by crashing their opponents through the wood.
