10 Booking Steps For WWE Monday Night Raw (Oct 19)

3. Continue Booking Kevin Owens In Good Matches

Whilst his opponent for Hell In A Cell - Ryback - was squashing Rusev, Kevin Owens gleaned a good match from Kalisto on Raw. There are those fans who feel the champion should be the one looking more dominant than the challenger, but Owens seemed willing to give The Lucha Dragon some offensive momentum this past Monday. There's nothing wrong with that, because it makes for an entertaining match. It didn't cause Owens to lose any of his own steam, and Kalisto looked great even in defeat. On Smackdown, 'KO' squished Zack Ryder, and it's almost like the booking team are writing a game of 'can you top this?' between both men. The Intercontinental Champion, Owens should continue to be booked in good matches. Fans would appreciate more of the situation with Kalisto, and less of the squash match scenario with Ryder. Short bouts don't always need to be one-sided, which is something that was shown to be the case on Monday Night Raw. This coming week, Owens should engage in another satisfying battle.
